Cute painting, but the video is not very well focused, and speaking for myself alone, I would really prefer, even if its a speed drawing, for the person giving the instruction to actually talk to us and let us know what they are doing, which color they are using etc...

are the books from book depository always unsealed? It's rare to find a bookstore that give you a bookmark:p
No, they did seal the package. I found using a cutter to open was dangerous, so I pulled it with my hand. I watched other unboxing videos in You Tube, they do include bookmark on their packages and every bookmark is not the same.

Why is it that whenever I apply water to my drawings it goes all horrible and smudgy. Also lots of weird black spots appear on my page. Why is this?

It depends on the amount of water added and type of paper (printing paper vs watercolor paper) using for drawing.
